Overview

Listings people enjoy browsing

UrbanNest Living competed with portals ten times its size. Instead of out-listing them, we out-experienced them: map-first search, honest photography standards and neighborhood stories that make each home feel found, not filtered.

I designed the full platform experience and built the marketing site plus the searchable listings front end.

Approach

How it came together

  • Renter interviews that reframed search around lifestyle, not specs
  • Map-led browsing with saved searches and smart alerts
  • Listing templates with photo, fact and neighborhood blocks
  • Accessible, keyboard-friendly interface tested with real users

Deliverables

What shipped

Search and listings experience, listing-page system, marketing site, and a component library the in-house team extends for every new feature. Search-to-enquiry flows were cut from six steps to three.

Outcome

Search that feels human

UrbanNest Living launched with an experience its larger rivals couldn't match for warmth — and a design system that keeps every new page on-brand without designer bottlenecks.
